1 Cup Tur dal
1 cup Grated coconut
1 tsp Cumin seeds
½ tsp Turmeric powder
¼ tsp Asafoetida
1 tsp Ghee
½ tsp Sugar optional
Salt
Method: Cook tur dal in pressure cooker. Grind coconut, turmeric, Asafoetida and cumin seeds in grinder with little water. Add this paste to boiled dal, add salt, sugar and allow to boil. While serving you may add lemon juice and ghee. Enjoy with hot rice.
