raw Banana Bharta

Raw banana Bharta is best during Ekadashi or fasting time. Healthy, easy to make and it keeps you filled for a long time. 

3 Raw Banana 3 कच्चे केले
1 tsp Ghee or oil 1 चम्मच घी या तेल
¼ tsp cumin seeds १/4 छोटा चम्मच जीरा
3-4 Curry leaves 3-4 कड़ी पत्ते
1 tsp chopped Green chillies 1 चम्मच कटी हरी मिर्च
2 tsp Chopped coriander leaves
2 चम्मच कटा हुआ धनिया पत्तियां
Salt , to taste
नमक स्वादानुसार
1 tsp lemon juice
1 चम्मच नींबू का रस


Clean banana and chop on both sides. 
Make medium size pieces. 
Keep water for boiling. 
Add chopped banana and salt. 
Let it cook until it is fork tender. 
Pot off the flame, drain all the water. 
Cool down banan and peel of the skin. 
Mash using masher or hands. 
Take a pan, add Ghee or oil. 
Add cumin seeds, once cumin seeds start spluttering add curry leaves, chopped green chillies. 
after 1 minute add mashed bananas. 
Mix it well. 
Add lemon juice and chopped cilantro. 
You can also add crushed roasted peanuts for crunchiness.
