How to make moong dal pani for babies

Daal Pani for babies 

Ingredients 
2 tbsp Moong Dal 2 चम्मच मूंग दाल 
Water पानी
1/8 tsp Dill seeds or cumin seeds 
(optional)
1/8 चम्मच सोया बीज या जीरा

Method 

Wash moong dal in running water 2-3 times.

Soak the dal in drinking water for 2-3 hours. 
Make flavoured water by boiling water and add cumin seeds or dill seeds to release gas. 

In a pressure cooker or pot, add soaked dal,and flavoured water or plain water.
Cook until it is mushy.
Cool it down and pass through blender or sieve and mash. 
Adjust the consistency as per baby's age. 

You may add some boiled and cooled drinking water at this point to thin the consistency.

You will get smooth soup that you baby can easily have.

Use a baby-friendly spoon to feed this soup.

* New food should be introduced in a very little quantity to the baby. 
Introduce only one new food per week to the baby so you can find out f baby has any allergies or any side effects.
