Godi Dal



Ingredients:
1 Cup Tur dal
1 cup Grated coconut
1 tsp Cumin seeds
½ tsp Turmeric powder
¼ tsp Asafoetida
1 tsp Ghee
½ tsp Sugar optional
Salt
 
Method:
  •  Cook tur dal in pressure cooker. 
  • Grind coconut, turmeric, Asafoetida and cumin seeds in grinder with little water.
  •  Add this paste to boiled dal, add salt, sugar and allow to boil.
  •  While serving you may add lemon juice and ghee.
  •  Enjoy with hot rice.
