Ingredients:
1 Cup Tur dal
1 cup Grated coconut
1 tsp Cumin seeds
½ tsp Turmeric powder
¼ tsp Asafoetida
1 tsp Ghee
½ tsp Sugar optional
Salt
1 cup Grated coconut

- Cook tur dal in pressure cooker.
- Grind coconut, turmeric, Asafoetida and cumin seeds in grinder with little water.
- Add this paste to boiled dal, add salt, sugar and allow to boil.
- While serving you may add lemon juice and ghee.
- Enjoy with hot rice.
